NEW BEGINNINGS AEROSPACE MINISTRY
A nonprofit that empowers underserved youth through STEM-focused aviation education, offering classroom learning, virtual training, flight simulators, and real flying experiences. The program has helped many young people pursue careers as military, commercial, and private pilots, equipping them with the skills and confidence to reach new heights.
WOMEN IN AVIATION INTERNATIONAL
A nonprofit dedicated to advancing and empowering women in aviation and aerospace, with over 20,000 members across 120 countries and a mission to make aviation dreams accessible to all. Through scholarships, mentorship, networking events, an annual conference, and its “Girls in Aviation Day” initiative, WAI builds a strong talent pipeline and fosters a supportive community for women at every stage of their aviation journey.
COMMEMORATIVE AIR FORCE
This organization connects students with aviation history through hands-on experiences and restored vintage military aircraft, preserving and flying planes like the SNJ-5 and T-34A2 to educate, inspire, and honor. Through events, educational programs, airshows, and community engagement, students gain exposure to aviation careers and a deeper appreciation for the legacy and sacrifices of military aviators.
EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION
A nonprofit aviation organization that promotes and supports recreational flying and grows participation in aviation by embracing the “Spirit of Aviation,” inspiring people to experience flight and providing resources, community, and events for aviation enthusiasts of all backgrounds. Founded in 1953 and now with a global membership, EAA fosters a vibrant aviation community through education, advocacy, events like AirVenture, and pathways for people to get involved in building, flying, and restoring aircraft.
WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF AERONAUTICS
The aviation division of the Wisconsin DOT that supports and manages the state’s network of commercial and general aviation airports, helping meet business, passenger, freight and recreational air transportation needs while enhancing economic vitality in Wisconsin communities.
YOUNG EAGLES
The EAA Young Eagles Free Flights program gives young people ages 8–17 the chance to take their first airplane ride at no cost, thanks to volunteer pilots from the Experimental Aircraft Association. It’s designed to introduce and inspire youth to aviation, and many participants go on to unlock additional benefits—like student membership and aviation education resources—after their Young Eagles flight.
